At Alist Real Estate we will endeavour to find you your perfect property. If we don’t have it listed, we’ll get it listed! We have a database and regular email newsletters we send out to prospective buyers, so you’ll be informed of all new listings, price reductions, open homes and upcoming Auctions.

 

Once you have found the property you wish to purchase you will need to submit an offer through the marketing agent.

 

AS A GENERAL GUIDELINE IT IS VERY HELPFUL IN THE BUYING PROCESS IF THE FOLLOWING STEPS ARE FOLLOWED:

 

Pre-approval of finance from your bank or lending institution;

• Choose a solicitor to act on your behalf;

• Ensure you have adequate deposit to fulfil contractual obligations;

• Advise of ideal settlement date;

• Have your own property sold or on the market (if relevant);

• Obtain independent legal advice if you are unsure about any aspect prior to signing a contract;

 

Once the contract is SIGNED by both parties, you will need to do the following:

• Arrange a cover note for insurance

• Pay the initial or full deposit in accordance with the contract;

• Arrange a building and pest inspection if required;

• Confirm finance with your lender;

 

Your Agent or Solicitor will assist you with any questions or concerns throughout the process. When settlement day arrives, you can collect your keys and start your new life….If you are not moving into the property, talk to our Property Management team about looking after your investment for you, we’d love to continue building our relationship with you.
